Mann Island

SP26 Cast Sandblasted Toughened

 

In this development, the Pilkington Profilit™ U-profile glass system was designed, installed and used in a different way from normal - to house the sub station for Mann Island, a mixed-use development, currently on-going as part of Liverpool’s regeneration project.

 

The glass panels are staggered to form static louvers and each panel is retained within an individual framing box. The entrance to the sub station is concealed using sliding door panels.
