The Pilkington Profilit™ U-profile glass system was installed in a single layer at upper levels to form a rain screen cladding. All areas accessible to the public are double glazed with profiled pressings provided at all levels. A sandblast finish has been applied on the internal surface of the glass in the Rotunda to mask the visual impact of the building insulation.
