Customised top and bottom ‘shoe’ to hold glass into its angled position

The versatility of the Pilkington Profilit™ U-profile glass system is emphasised in this project as it was installed both internally and externally. Internally modern, semi-transparent think tank areas were formed, catering for individual, as well as, group study.

 

Externally the Pilkington Profilit™ U-profile glass system was used to create a bespoke louver-type system for the new service tower above the building entrance. Although not the normal use for the Pilkington Profilit™ system, we adapted and customised it to coincide with the specified designs.
