Reglit gives light to New Regional Indoor Training Centre.

The construction of the New Regional Indoor Training Centre for Culture and Sport Glasgow, in our neighbouring area of Toryglen, gave us a great opportunity to participate in the development of our local community.

The state-of-the-art facility will be Scotland’s first full-size indoor football pitch.

Reglit Glass Architecture has been providing much of the exterior envelope for the building, and the results are more than impressive.

SPECS

• Profilit™ Cast glass range is used extensively over four elevations to form a double layer.
• SP26 Cast Wired glass installed on external layer.
• SP26 Cast Wired ‘Plus’ coated glass installed on internal layer.
• Reglit glass panels cover a total area of 2500m².
• Insulation material integrated on south facing elevation to improve U-Value properties and counteract the effect of glare.

Hundreds of school children will have access to the centre and the facility will be widely used by both the local community and the professionals alike.
