Westcrowns on the red carpet at the Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards Ceremony 2008

Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire announced a couple of weeks ago that Westcrowns was short listed in 2 awards categories for the Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards 2008.

Every year since 1993, Lanarkshire Business Awards celebrate the best and the most innovative businesses the area has to offer.
This year, Westcrowns, trading under the companies Harndec Flooring, Reglit Glass Architecture and Lumaglass, made it to the final shortlist of 3 companies in 2 awards categories:

* Best Performing Business (26 - 250 Employees)
and      
* Business Growth Through Innovation & Creativity.

Douglas Dickson, Director, Growing Business at Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire reported:
"This year the quality of entries was excellent and it is fantastic to see traditional industry, new technology enterprise and community based organisations from Lanarkshire participating in the Awards.

The countdown is now on as the 15th annual Awards Dinner & Ceremony approaches. Westcrowns will be represented by the management team, some members of staff and a couple of guests at the black tie event on the 29th February 2008.
