The two safety criteria requested by building designers are accidental human body impact performance and fire resistance. We have been able to offer impact performance with our systems for some time.

Work has been on-going, by our product development team, to finalize a system that would give an appropriate fire resistance classification. A screen has now been subjected to independent testing at Bodycoat Warrington. The screen was tested to EN 1364-1 : Fire resistance tests for non-loadbearing elements - Part 1 : Walls.

The screen performed to expectation and full details, including classification, will be available shortly.
