11.04 Architects and Structuretone Ltd rewarded for DDS Office Fit-Out

We would like to congratulate 11.04 Architects and the Fit-Out Contractor Structuretone Ltd on their recent Gold Award for the Interior Fit Out of the Year 2008 at this weeks prestigious AIS Awards.

The project features a number of innovative design aspects, including a Reglit structural wall enclosing the Data centre, giving the International

Software Developer DDS (Donovan Data System) new offices a youth-orientated yet sophisticated look.

Chris Roche, Design Director of 11.04 Architects, states: “We choose Reglit to clad our client’s Data Centre and it proved to be an excellent choice with the AIS Award Judge, Jack Pringle, praising the design as ‘ a truly obsessively well constructed data room’. 11.04 Architects are delighted, as we went on to win Fit-Out of the Year”.

The overall scheme occupies the first floor (35,000 sq ft) of the new Blue Fin Building overlooking Tate Modern, in Southwark and was commended for "the quality of design, and for the project’s engagement with sustainable issues".
